  2. What are the advantages of purchasing a bus ticket with SmartBuy?

     

    You need to carry the confirmation email/ booking ID sent to you at the time of booking and any of your ID proofs that should have your address and photograph. These include your passport, Aadhaar card, driving license and voter's ID card. Please note that PAN card does not qualify as an acceptable ID proof.

  3. Does booking online cost me more?

     

    Not at all! The price of the bus ticket is the same as what would be quoted to you by the bus operator. The price is sometimes discounted depending on the season/time.

  4. Does the Debit/Credit Card holder who purchased the ticket need to be one of the passengers?

     

    A passenger can use any card to pay for the ticket, not necessarily their own. However, please note that the passenger whose name the ticket is booked in should carry proof of their identity (along with the ticket) at the time of boarding the bus.

  5. How can I cancel my bus ticket online booked via SmartBuy?

     

    Yes, you can cancel the tickets online on the “Manage Bookings” section on Smartbuy’s AbhiBus page. However, please note that the cancellation fee and cancellation period may differ for specific bus services. In case of any queries with respect to cancellation and refunds, please feel free to reach out to the AbhiBus customer support (support@abhibus.com ph: 040-61656789)

  6. How can I get a refund in case I cancel my ticket?

     

    The refund is provided as per the AbhiBus and SmartBuy cancellation policy. The refund will be credited to the source of payment (debit card, credit card, net banking, payzapp wallet) within 5-7 business working days from the date the refund is received from the travel partner.

  7. How can I do online bus reservation on HDFC Smartbut with AbhiBus?

     

    Booking a bus ticket online in India is easy on AbhiBus. After clicking on Bus on HDFC Smartbuy land to the AbhiBus page. Simply enter the Leaving from (Origin City) -- Going to (destination city) details along with the date you wish to travel in the bus search option on the site. Within seconds you will be given a list of available running buses for your route. Select the bus that best suits you, then just follow the bus ticket booking process by selecting your seat, providing passenger details and completing the payment process. Upon successful booking confirmation, you will receive an e-ticket over SMS/WhatsApp and email.

  8. Do I need to create an account to book bus tickets on AbhiBus?

     

    No, you can book bus tickets as a guest user by providing required passenger details.

  9. Can I book both private and government (SRTC) buses?

     

    Yes, you can book both Private and SRTC bus tickets online. AbhiBus is the official ticketing partner of several State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) operators and over 4000+ private bus partners covering more than 6,50,000 bus routes.

  10. How to cancel my bus ticket online?

     

    You can cancel the tickets online on the “Manage Bookings” section on Smartbuy’s AbhiBus page. For the cancellation cut off time defined by the bus partner, you can check the cancellation policy in your booking confirmation email.

  11. What are the cancellation charges?

     

    Standard cancellation charges apply for all users. AbhiBus will charge upto ₹15 as a cancellation fee, other than what the bus operator charges for every seat cancelled. The cancellation charges are deducted from the collected fare and the balance is refunded.

  12. Can I do partial cancellation?

     

    Yes, partial cancellation of tickets booked in a single order is allowed; benefits like Free Cancellation or ABhiAssured if opted while booking apply to remaining tickets. Note: Cancellation charges will apply as per policy.

  13. What if the operator cancels the bus?

     

    If the bus partner decides to cancel their bus service, customers will receive a 100% refund for the cancellation. The refund will be processed to the original mode of payment within 2-7 days depending on payment method.

  14. How long does it take for a refund?

     

    Upon cancellation the refund will be processed and money will be credited back to your account in 2-7 working days depending on the mode of payment. In case the refund amount is not credited to your account in 7 working days from the date of refund, we kindly request you to send an email to support@abhibus.com along with the ticket details/order details and credit/debit/Wallet statement (in PDF format) from the date of booking to till date.

  15. What is Free Cancellation?

     

    Free Cancellation feature enables users to avail full refund at the time of cancellation of their Bus booking, by just paying a small fee as low as ₹9 at the time of booking the ticket.

  16. What is Abhi Assured?

     

    Abhi Assured is an assurance provided by AbhiBus, which guarantees a superior and reliable bus travel experience to customers. It is developed in collaboration with trusted bus partners. When booking a bus ticket with the AbhiAssured tag and by paying a small fee as low as ₹9, customers can expect seamless booking, travel satisfaction, and prompt resolution of issues related to quality standards, bus delays, service cancellations, or staff conduct. Abhi Assured also offers compensation to travelers in case of any service cancellations by operator or bus delays or quality issues. Customers can also cancel their booking and get full refund if opted for AbhiAssured.
