Cancellation and Modification charges:
For all flight modifications and ticket cancellations, the modification and cancellation charges are applied per sector per passenger. Please note that these charges are subject to change by the Airline and its service provider, at its sole discretion.
If you are contacting the airlines directly with regards to the modification you are liable to pay the additional price difference directly to the airlines and HDFC Bank/ Reward360 is not liable for modification changes done to your order or online updates of the order in your account.
Please note that the convenience fee levied during transaction during flight booking on SmartBuy is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled.
If you are contacting the airlines directly for Cancellation you are still liable to call the HDFC bank SmartBuy customer support to process your refund. Please inform the customer support team within 24 hours from the time of cancellation.
Cancellation and Modification Policy:
Every hotel has a different cancellation and modification policy and the user shall be charged according to the Hotel/Room cancellation or modification policy. Please note that these charges are subject to change by the hotel and its service provider, at its sole discretion and without notice to Company. The charges may be verified with the hotel and their service provider by the User.
For any hotel/ room modification, you must contact the designated customer support team and/ or the hotel directly. And the request will be entertained as per the booking terms and any modification charge has to be borne by the customer.
Only those cancellation requests which are made on the phone to designated customer support team shall be entertained. Please note that if you are contacting the Hotel directly for cancellation you are still liable to inform the HDFC Bank SmartBuy call center support team to process the refund.
HDFC Bank/ Reward360 shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel without intimating HDFC Bank and also through any other medium including, but not limited to, SMS or e-mail.
Cancellation Policy
SmartBuy will process the ticket cancellation request from You as per the cancellation/refund policy of the bus operator/ redBus. The cancellation fee and the period taken to process the refund will differ for each bus operator. Please refer to the bus operator's cancellation policy.
HDFC Bank/ SmartBuy will not be responsible for any change in partner/ bus operator’s cancellation policy.
How does the customer cancel a ticket?
You can cancel your ticket (partial & full ticket), booked through website (https://offers.smartbuy.hdfcbank.com), Online through “My Orders” in “Manage Booking” section after login. Cancellation policy is subject to Partner/ bus operator policy.
Kindly note: if primary passenger ticket is cancelled, the complete ticket will be cancelled.
Alternatively, you can call our partner redBus at 080-3097 0823 or email to support@redbus.in for all cancellation related queries/ support. Our partner support team will help you process the request as per the cancellation policy of the bus operator.
Refund Policy
Customer will be entitled to get refund of ticket fare, as per redBus or the bus operator policy. Customer will not be entitled to refund for cancellation of tickets for any other reasons.
In the event of dishonour of ticket by the bus operator, please connect with redBus and SmartBuy customer support for refunds. The refund shall be processed in 7 to 10 working days, subject to refund receipt from the partner redBus and may be subject to partner/ bus operator charges.
Modification Policy
SmartBuy does not support modification of bus tickets. Request you to connect with redBus customer support at 080-3097 0823 or connect with the bus operator directly.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability
1. You are required to enter a valid phone number while booking a bus ticket on SmartBuy. By registering Your phone number is registered with us, You consent to be contacted by us for the purposes of the transaction on SmartBuy or for sending you any SmartBuy related content or promotional offers.
2. For the purpose of booking bus tickets through SmartBuy, we warrant that we shall be responsible for the following activities:
Carriage Policy:
1. You are responsible for ensuring that Your travel date, time and destination are correct before booking/reserving the bus tickets or when you select to confirm your ticket purchase on the Website. 2. You are solely responsible to be at the designated boarding point reasonably in advance before departure time. We are not liable if you fail to board the bus by the time the bus departs

6. The bus operator reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, and/or delay any journey and substitute other buses for reasons they deem necessary to do so.
7. You are responsible to ensure that valid and necessary government issued personal identification documents, such as the passport, PAN card or Aadhar card, are carried with you for the journey.

Refund Policy
Customer will be entitled to get refund of ticket fare, as per IRCTC policy. Customer will not be entitled to refund for cancellation of tickets for any other reasons.
In the event of dishonour of ticket by IRCTC/IRCTC representative, The refund shall be processed in 10 to 15 working days, subject to refund receipt from the partner IRCTC and may be subject to SmartBuy cancellation charges, other non-refundable charges and discount availed at the time of booking.
Modification Policy
SmartBuy does not support modification of train tickets.
TRAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. You acknowledge that SmartBuy neither acts as a marketplace facilitating booking of railways tickets and therefore, neither influence nor controls the scheduling/rescheduling, cancellations or other changes to the delivery timelines or other related aspects of the railway tickets on offer. SmartBuy, not being last-mile service provider, shall not be deemed responsible/liable for any delay, inaccuracy, schedule change, update, cancellation, lack or deficiency of services provided by the railways.
2. Meal and berth preferences are available however final confirmation is upto IRCTC.

9. Photo Id proofs accepted by Railways are as follows, passengers not carrying a valid Id's may get denied boarding the train or may be asked to de-board at any station by concerned railway authorities :-

13. SmartBuy, though makes an effort to keep latest railways terms and conditions visible on our platform but cannot be held accountable in case of any changes to the terms and conditions. 14. Railways may offer special concessions/discounts for senior citizens, female passengers and children, the amount or extent of concession is not decided by SmartBuy, all customers are advised to check latest railways policies for active/applicable discounts.
15. Train functionality on Site will not be functional between 11:45 PM to 00:15 AM due to system downtime at Railways' end. Also, passengers will not be able to book non tatkal tickets between 8 am to 8.15 am for general classes, from 10 am to 10.15 am for Tatkal AC classes, and from 11 am to 11.15 am for Tatkal non-AC classes.
16. Passengers are required to remember their IRCTC user name and password in order to book trains on SmartBuy, If a passenger doesn't remember their IRCTC password after payment is made, refund will be initiated automatically.
17. Travelers must carry their e ticket at the boarding, failing which Railways authorities may charge applicable fees for issuing a copy of ticket.

Change in boarding point and name of passenger are not supported by the Site and customers are required to take the print out of the issued eticket to nearest railway reservation counter along with the photo identity proof mentioned in the e-ticket. 21. IRCTC service charge, SmartBuy handling charge and Payment gateway charges are non-refundable. Bookings can only be cancelled through the SmartBuy website. https://offers.smartbuy.hdfcbank.com
22. Passengers with a confirmed e-ticket are permitted to board the train. Their names will appear on the boarding chart. Final booking status such as confirmed/RAC with the names of passengers will appear on the boarding chart. Waitlisted bookings/PNR's will not be listed on the boarding chart, existing railways rules will apply if fully waitlisted travelers are found traveling.
23. The bookings made on SmartBuy website is subject to cancellation charges levied by the Indian Railways. It may vary depending on the cancellation time and booking quota (tatkal/general/ladies/premium).
24. Railways automatically cancels the fully waitlisted e-tickets after chart preparation. The refund in such cases gets automatically credited to your bank account used for booking such tickets after deduction of SmartBuy handling charges, any other non-refundable charges and discount/ coupon, if any available at the time to booking.
25. SmartBuy offers below functionality to customers:
1. Book trains - Travelers can search and book trains
2. PNR status - Updated PNR status such as waitlisted, confirmed, RAC etc. can be viewed on SmartBuy using Check PNR tab in Train category landing page.
3. Cancel ticket – Travelers can cancel ticket online (full and partial ticket cancellation supported)

1. PWA on iOS is only supported when using the mobile Safari browser. Not compatible with any other browsers such as Chrome, Firefox etc., on an iOS device.
2. Web push notifications are not supported on iOS.
3. PWA on iOS is supported on iOS version 11.3+ .
1. Generic Terms and Conditions
Redemption on SmartBuy Rewards is subject to:
HDFC Bank voucher approval and terms & conditions as relevant to the SmartBuy Rewards Store Availability of the reward at the time of order fulfilment
2. SmartBuy Reward
Whenever deemed necessary, SmartBuy may, without notice, cancel the Rewards order or substitute the reward with another, of comparable nature and value.
SmartBuy reserves the right to introduce new products and replace the existing ones at any point in time without prior intimation to the member.
Only customers having active HDFC Bank account can request for redemption of Vouchers.
Other HDFC Bank benefits, which are activated by use of the HDFC Bank Rewards, do not apply to goods or services received as rewards under the SmartBuy Reward Program.
SmartBuy may suspend redemption of Vouchers where the HDFC Bank Credit Card account is not in good standing or for any other reason deemed suspicious to the Bank.
SmartBuy reserves the right at any time, without prior notice, to add / alter / modify / change or vary all terms & conditions or to replace wholly, or in part, the Offer by other offers, whether similar to this facility or not, or to withdraw it altogether.
3. SmartBuy Voucher
The SmartBuy Vouchers can only be redeemed by the primary relationship-holder, and not by an additional account holder.
The Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or credit or be used to obtain cash advances, or be used against payment for any charges incurred in the SmartBuy Rewards Relationship.
All unused Vouchers will be reversed back as points to customer account within stipulated time period and cannot be exchanged for cash /credit under any circumstances.
SmartBuy Vouchers will be delivered to your bank registered mobile number only. Onus to update the mobile number or any other information related to user profile with HDFC Bank lies with the customer. Any updates to the mobile number and Email id has to be done directly with the bank. SmartBuy at any point of time cannot be held for change in user profile.
Onus to provide the correct delivery Address for order fulfilment on SmartBuy Rewards, lies with the customer. Neither SmartBuy nor HDFC Bank can be held responsible for any incorrect/invalid address provided by the customer which can result in non-delivery /delay on order fulfilment.
4. Rewards
Mode of Payment
i. Currently all products in the Reward Store can be redeemed using Voucher only.
ii. Currently no cash payment is accepted for redemption of Reward products and Gifts Vouchers on the “Rewards” Store.
The below terms and Conditions are applicable with respect to “Rewards” Store.
The product list and catalogue is subject to change and will be updated on SmartBuy Rewards website from time to time.
Product related terms & conditions shall be set forth in the Rewards on the website and in the Rewards issued to the user.
SmartBuy Rewards makes no warranties or representations either expressed or implied, with regard to the type, quality or fitness of the Rewards provided through the SmartBuy Rewards Program. Gifts will be accompanied by warranty information wherever applicable from the manufacturer and claims must be directed to the manufacturers directly.
Delivery of Rewards redeemed from ‘Rewards” Store
All Physical Rewards will be dispatched to the bank registered address only. Please contact the bank if you wish to change the address. In case of e-Gift Voucher, it will be sent on the email id provided during redemption. Please be noted that this does not change the customer profile/ registered details with HDFC Bank. No dispatch shall be made to P.O. Box addresses or to addresses outside India.
In case of e-Gift Voucher once the e-voucher order is been placed it is non-cancellable.
All other products including multiple reward redemptions will be delivered in 5-7 working days. SmartBuy Rewards be not held responsible for delay in delivery for reasons beyond our control, such as strikes, natural calamities etc.
Products couriered through Speed Post will be delivered in 21 working days. Delivery via speed post might take additional days depending on the remoteness of the address.
SmartBuy Rewards reserves right to cancel the orders redeemed due to stock/ product non availability and other reasons that might affect the product delivery.
If the customer’s points balance is not sufficient during settlement, then the excess amount will be debited from the customer’s card/ account

6. The Courier company shall make three attempts to deliver the gift/reward ordered to the registered address. If the Reward is not delivered after three attempts, the redemption order stands cancelled and the SmartBuy Vouchers shall be credited back to customer account as per due process.
7. If a gift/reward received is damaged, and
i. If the damage is evident from the condition of the packaging, the member should refuse to accept the shipment and obtain a refusal note from the courier company and inform the customer care center within 7 days of receipt t of the gift.
ii. If the damage is discovered after opening the package, the member should keep all packaging materials and cartons intact and call customer service centre for assistance to return the product. If the returned goods are found by to be defective post investigation /not comply with the description in the SmartBuy Rewards Catalogue, Reward360 shall endeavour to procure replacements for the items / shall credit the SmartBuy Voucher value as points back to the member’s account. The member shall thereafter have no claim whatsoever against Reward360/HDFC Bank
iii. In case of receipt of damaged, defective or deficient goods/ invalid Gift vouchers, the member should intimate the same to Customer Service within 7 working days of receipt of gift/reward. However, in case of failure to do so, the reward shall be considered as accepted and member’s request for replacement/reversal of voucher value shall not be entertained.
8. On cancelation of rewards redeemed, the Vouchers will be refunded in 5 working days from the date of cancellation. In case there is an error while redeeming the rewards, the Vouchers will be refunded back to customer account as points in less than 1 hour.
9. To know the order status/Shipping status of Rewards, please visit “Manage Orders”, enter order id, Mobile number and click submit.
Other terms and conditions related to HDFC Bank’s MyReward is applicable on SmartBuy Rewards. However certain terms & conditions shall be overrules by SmartBuy Rewards Terms and Conditions.
OTHER RIGHTS
Any communication or materials sent by you to the site by electronic mail or otherwise, including any comments, data, questions, suggestions or the like will be treated by HDFC Bank/ Reward360 as non-confidential.
Any material submitted to this site may be adapted, broadcast, changed, copied, disclosed, licensed, performed, posted, published, sold, transmitted or used by HDFC Bank/ Reward360 anywhere in the world, in any medium.
HDFC Bank reserves the right to deny any user access to this Site if found suspicious or any portion hereof without notice. HDFC Bank/ Reward360 is merely providing the intermediary service to its users and therefore not be held responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any content with regards to the flights, hotels, movie, music, recharges and other categories that can result in damages of any kind, expenses, personal injuries etc resulting there from.
