FLIGHT BOOKING TERMS

Cancellation and Modification charges:

For all flight modifications and ticket cancellations, the modification and cancellation charges are applied per sector per passenger. Please note that these charges are subject to change by the Airline and its service provider, at its sole discretion. Please note processing fee of 2% on the transaction value and any discounts availed at the time of booking would be deducted by SmartBuy if the booking is cancelled.

Please note that the convenience fee levied during transaction during flight booking on SmartBuy is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled.

If you are contacting the airlines directly with regards to the modification you are liable to pay the additional price difference directly to the airlines and HDFC Bank/ Reward360 is not liable for modification changes done to your order or online updates of the order in your account.

If you are contacting the airlines directly for Cancellation you are still liable to call the HDFC Bank SmartBuy customer support to process your refund. Please inform the customer support team within 24 hours from the time of cancellation.

Refund shall be processed within 7-10 working days, subject to receipt of refund from airline/partner and may be subject to cancellation charges.

 

Please note, refund is not applicable on partner convenience fees and service fee.

HOTEL BOOKING TERMS

Cancellation and Modification Policy:

Every hotel has a different cancellation and modification policy and the user shall be charged according to the Hotel/Room cancellation or modification policy. Please note that these charges are subject to change by the hotel and its service provider, at its sole discretion and without notice to Company. The charges may be verified with the hotel and their service provider by the User.

For any hotel/ room modification, you must contact the designated customer support team and/ or the hotel directly. And the request will be entertained as per the booking terms and any modification charge has to be borne by the customer.

Only those cancellation requests which are made on the phone to designated customer support team shall be entertained. Please note that if you are contacting the Hotel directly for cancellation you are still liable to inform the HDFC Bank SmartBuy call center support team to process the refund.

HDFC Bank/ Reward360 shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel without intimating HDFC Bank and also through any other medium including, but not limited to, SMS or e-mail.

BUS BOOKING TERMS

Cancellation Policy

SmartBuy will process the ticket cancellation request from You as per the cancellation/refund policy of the bus operator/ redBus. The cancellation fee and the period taken to process the refund will differ for each bus operator. Please refer to the bus operator's cancellation policy.

HDFC Bank/ SmartBuy will not be responsible for any change in partner/ bus operator’s cancellation policy.

How does the customer cancel a ticket?

You can cancel your ticket (partial & full ticket), booked through website (https://offers.smartbuy.hdfcbank.com), Online through “My Orders” in “Manage Booking” section after login. Cancellation policy is subject to Partner/ bus operator policy.

Kindly note: if primary passenger ticket is cancelled, the complete ticket will be cancelled.

Alternatively, you can call our partner redBus at 080-3097 0823 or email to support@redbus.in for all cancellation related queries/ support. Our partner support team will help you process the request as per the cancellation policy of the bus operator.

Refund Policy

Customer will be entitled to get refund of ticket fare, as per redBus or the bus operator policy. Customer will not be entitled to refund for cancellation of tickets for any other reasons.

In the event of dishonour of ticket by the bus operator, please connect with redBus and SmartBuy customer support for refunds. The refund shall be processed in 7 to 10 working days, subject to refund receipt from the partner redBus and may be subject to partner/ bus operator charges.

Modification Policy

SmartBuy does not support modification of bus tickets. Request you to connect with redBus customer support at 080-3097 0823 or connect with the bus operator directly.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

1. You are required to enter a valid phone number while booking a bus ticket on SmartBuy. By registering Your phone number is registered with us, You consent to be contacted by us for the purposes of the transaction on SmartBuy or for sending you any SmartBuy related content or promotional offers.

2. For the purpose of booking bus tickets through SmartBuy, we warrant that we shall be responsible for the following activities:

  1. 1. Issuing a valid ticket (a ticket that will be accepted by the bus operator);
  2. 2. Providing customer support
  3. 3. SmartBuy will process the ticket cancellation request (online) from customers subject to the cancellation and refund policy of the respective bus operator. The cancellation fee may differ for each bus operator.
  4. 4.However, We DO NOT take any liability for the following:
  5. 5. The bus operator's bus not departing from/reaching the pick-up point or destination on time;
  6. 6. The bus operator's employee/s being rude to You;
  7. 7. The bus operator's bus seats or the journey not being up to Your expectation;
  8. 8. The bus operator modifying and/or cancelling your bus ticket reservation partially or completely due to unavoidable reasons as described in the following clauses;
  9. 9. Your baggage getting lost/stolen/damaged;
  10. 10. The bus operator changing a customer's seat at the last minute to accommodate a female / child passenger;
  11. 11. Bus departing without You boarding the bus, while You were waiting at the wrong boarding point (please call the bus operator to find out the exact boarding point if you are not a regular traveller of a particular bus operator);
  12. 12. The bus operator changing the boarding point and/or using a pick-up vehicle at the boarding point to take the passengers to the bus departure point; and
  13. 13. The bus operator not permitting Your baggage beyond a limit determined at the bus operator’s sole discretion.

Carriage Policy:

1. You are responsible for ensuring that Your travel date, time and destination are correct before booking/reserving the bus tickets or when you select to confirm your ticket purchase on the Website. Please check the cancellation Policy available on the Website for details about cancellation and refunds.

2. You are solely responsible to be at the designated boarding point reasonably in advance before departure time. We are not liable if you fail to board the bus by the time the bus departs

3. The bus operators reserve the right to refuse you and your luggage from carriage on the bus for whatsoever reason that they deem justified, including but not limited to:

  1. 1. Carrying of contraband, illegal substances, fragile or oversize/overweight luggage, Your unruly behavior, drunkenness or any other behavior that the bus operator deems to affect the other passengers' comfort or safety.
  2. 2. You are unable to produce valid government issued identification proof while traveling.
  3. 3. The payment of Your fare for the ticket is fraudulent;
  4. 4. The booking of Your seat has been done fraudulently or unlawfully or has been purchased from a person not authorized by redBus;
  5. 5. The credit card through which your payment was made for the ticket booking has been reported lost or stolen;
  6. 6. The itinerary or booking or confirmation slip is counterfeit or fraudulently obtained;
  7. 7. The itinerary of your reservation has been altered by a person other than redBus or our authorized agent on your express instructions;
  8. 8. You are unable to produce a valid and legible boarding ticket for the intended travel. The boarding ticket constitutes as the prima facie evidence of the contract of carriage between the bus operator and the boarding ticket holder;
  9. 9. You are deemed medically unfit to travel and may pose a health hazard to other passengers on board the bus, at the absolute discretion of the bus operator;
  10. 10. You fail to arrive on time to board before the time of departure or fail to board the bus by the time the bus departs.
  11. 11. If the bus operator has refused to carry You or choose to remove You from carriage as per the reasons abovementioned, we reserve the right to cancel the unused ticket and You will not be entitled to further carriage or refund of fare. We will not be liable for the consequential or incidental loss, damage, cost, or fee You may incur due to the refusal of carriage.

4. Children below age twelve (12) will not be allowed to book tickets for themselves nor will be allowed to travel, unless they are accompanied by an adult.

5. Children above the age of 5 years need to compulsorily obtain a bus ticket at the regular fare of the ticket, unless otherwise a particular bus operator specifies otherwise in their terms and conditions.

6. The bus operator reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, and/or delay any journey and substitute other buses for reasons they deem necessary to do so.

7. You are responsible to ensure that valid and necessary government issued personal identification documents, such as the passport, PAN card or Aadhar card, are carried with you for the journey.

Losses:

HDFCBank/ SmartBuy will not be responsible for any loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) and any other indirect or consequential loss to You when You commenced using the Website.

IRCTC Authorised Partner BOOKING

Cancellation Policy

SmartBuy will process the ticket cancellation request from You as per the cancellation/refund policy of IRCTC Authorised Partner. The cancellation fee and the period taken to process the refund will differ, for details please refer to the IRCTC Authorised Partner cancellation policy.

HDFC Bank/ SmartBuy will not be responsible for any change in IRCTC Authorised Partner cancellation policy.

How does the customer cancel a ticket ?

You can cancel your ticket (partial & full ticket), booked through website (https://offers.smartbuy.hdfcbank.com), Online through “My Orders” in “Trains Transaction History” section after login. Cancellation is subject to IRCTC Authorised Partner cancellation policy.

Refund Policy

Customer will be entitled to get refund of ticket fare, as per IRCTC Authorised Partner policy. Customer will not be entitled to refund for cancellation of tickets for any other reasons.

In the event of dishonour of ticket by IRCTC Authorised Partner/IRCTC Authorised Partner representative, The refund shall be processed in 30 working days, subject to refund receipt from the partner IRCTC Authorised Partner and may be subject to SmartBuy cancellation charges, other non-refundable charges and discount availed at the time of booking.

Modification Policy

SmartBuy does not support modification of train tickets.

TRAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. You acknowledge that SmartBuy neither acts as a marketplace facilitating booking of railways tickets and therefore, neither influence nor controls the scheduling/rescheduling, cancellations or other changes to the delivery timelines or other related aspects of the railway tickets on offer. SmartBuy, not being last-mile service provider, shall not be deemed responsible/liable for any delay, inaccuracy, schedule change, update, cancellation, lack or deficiency of services provided by the railways.

2. Meal and berth preferences are available however final confirmation is upto IRCTC Authorised Partner.

3. For information on luggage policies you are requested to check latest Railways baggage, animals or item carriage policies available at http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/.

4. Only e-tickets can be booked through SmartBuy. We do not support Paper tickets.

5. You can book a maximum of 6 seats/berths and 2 child (below 5 years) in a general quota train booking.

6. You can book a maximum of 4 seats/berths and 2 child (below 5 years) in a Tatkal quota train booking.

7. Travelers can check Railways policies related to Suvidha trains through this link http://contents.irctc.co.in/en/Suvidha.pdf.

8. Seat upgradation is based on railways policies for more information please visit https://www.irctc.co.in/eticketing/loginHome.jsf.

9. Photo Id proofs accepted by Railways are as follows, passengers not carrying a valid Id's may get denied boarding the train or may be asked to de-board at any station by concerned railway authorities :-

1. Valid Passport

2. Voter photo identity card

3. Driving License issued by RTO

4. Pan Card

5. Photo Identity card having serial number issued by Central / State Government

6. Student Identity Card with photograph issued by recognized School/College for their students

7. Aadhaar card

8. Photo identity cards having serial number issued by public sector Undertakings of State/Central Government, District Administrations, Municipal bodies and Panchayat Administrations

9. For Non-Indians, their Country's Passport will constitute sole authorized ID

10. Ration card will be accepted as proof of identity for undertaking journey under Tatkal scheme only if the passenger whose photograph is available on the ration card is travelling

10. Seat/berth allotment is done by Railways based on their allocation logic after booking confirmation, Company does not guarantee allotment of preferred seat/berth.

13. SmartBuy, though makes an effort to keep latest railways terms and conditions visible on our platform but cannot be held accountable in case of any changes to the terms and conditions. 14. Railways may offer special concessions/discounts for senior citizens, female passengers and children, the amount or extent of concession is not decided by SmartBuy, all customers are advised to check latest railways policies for active/applicable discounts.

15. Train functionality on Site will not be functional between 11:45 PM to 00:15 AM due to system downtime at Railways' end. Also, passengers will not be able to book non tatkal tickets between 8 am to 8.15 am for general classes, from 10 am to 10.15 am for Tatkal AC classes, and from 11 am to 11.15 am for Tatkal non-AC classes.

16. Passengers are required to remember their IRCTC Authorised Partner user name and password in order to book trains on SmartBuy, If a passenger doesn't remember their IRCTC Authorised Partner password after payment is made, refund will be initiated automatically.

17. Travelers must carry their e ticket at the boarding, failing which Railways authorities may charge applicable fees for issuing a copy of ticket.

19. Passengers can check Railways rules for cancellations, refunds and TDR through this http://contents.irctc.co.in/en/REFUND RULES wef 12-Nov-15.pdf.

20. Change in boarding point and name of passenger are not supported by the Site and customers are required to take the print out of the issued eticket to nearest railway reservation counter along with the photo identity proof mentioned in the e-ticket. 21. IRCTC Authorised Partner service charge, SmartBuy handling charge and Payment gateway charges are non-refundable.Option to cancel a ticket post chart preparation is not available on SmartBuy, instead customer has to file a TDR as per IRCTC norms.

22. Passengers with a confirmed e-ticket are permitted to board the train. Their names will appear on the boarding chart. Final booking status such as confirmed/RAC with the names of passengers will appear on the boarding chart. Waitlisted bookings/PNR's will not be listed on the boarding chart, existing railways rules will apply if fully waitlisted travelers are found traveling.

23. The bookings made on SmartBuy website is subject to cancellation charges levied by the Indian Railways. It may vary depending on the cancellation time and booking quota (tatkal/general/ladies/premium).

24. Railways automatically cancels the fully waitlisted e-tickets after chart preparation. The refund in such cases gets automatically credited to your bank account used for booking such tickets after deduction of SmartBuy handling charges, any other non-refundable charges and discount/ coupon, if any available at the time to booking.

25. SmartBuy offers below functionality to customers:

1. Book trains - Travelers can search and book trains

2. PNR status - Updated PNR status such as waitlisted, confirmed, RAC etc. can be viewed on SmartBuy using Check PNR tab in Train category landing page.

3. Cancel ticket – Travelers can cancel ticket online (full and partial ticket cancellation supported)

SMARTBUY REWARDS

1. Generic Terms and Conditions

Redemption on SmartBuy Rewards is subject to:
HDFC Bank voucher approval and terms & conditions as relevant to the SmartBuy Rewards Store Availability of the reward at the time of order fulfilment

2. SmartBuy Reward

Whenever deemed necessary, SmartBuy may, without notice, cancel the Rewards order or substitute the reward with another, of comparable nature and value.

SmartBuy reserves the right to introduce new products and replace the existing ones at any point in time without prior intimation to the member.

Only customers having active HDFC Bank account can request for redemption of Vouchers.

Other HDFC Bank benefits, which are activated by use of the HDFC Bank Rewards, do not apply to goods or services received as rewards under the SmartBuy Reward Program.

SmartBuy may suspend redemption of Vouchers where the HDFC Bank Credit Card account is not in good standing or for any other reason deemed suspicious to the Bank.

3. SmartBuy Voucher

The SmartBuy Vouchers can only be redeemed by the primary relationship-holder, and not by an additional account holder.

The Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or credit or be used to obtain cash advances, or be used against payment for any charges incurred in the SmartBuy Rewards Relationship.

All unused Vouchers will be reversed back as points to customer account within stipulated time period and cannot be exchanged for cash /credit under any circumstances.

SmartBuy Vouchers will be delivered to your bank registered mobile number only. Onus to update the mobile number or any other information related to user profile with HDFC Bank lies with the customer. Any updates to the mobile number and Email id has to be done directly with the bank. SmartBuy at any point of time cannot be held for change in user profile.

Onus to provide the correct delivery Address for order fulfilment on SmartBuy Rewards, lies with the customer. Neither SmartBuy nor HDFC Bank can be held responsible for any incorrect/invalid address provided by the customer which can result in non-delivery /delay on order fulfilment.

4. Rewards

Mode of Payment

i. Currently all products in the Reward Store can be redeemed using Voucher only.

ii. Currently no cash payment is accepted for redemption of Reward products and Gifts Vouchers on the “Rewards” Store.

The below terms and Conditions are applicable with respect to “Rewards” Store.

The product list and catalogue is subject to change and will be updated on SmartBuy Rewards website from time to time.

Product related terms & conditions shall be set forth in the Rewards on the website and in the Rewards issued to the user.

SmartBuy Rewards makes no warranties or representations either expressed or implied, with regard to the type, quality or fitness of the Rewards provided through the SmartBuy Rewards Program. Gifts will be accompanied by warranty information wherever applicable from the manufacturer and claims must be directed to the manufacturers directly.

Delivery of Rewards redeemed from ‘Rewards” Store

All Physical Rewards will be dispatched to the bank registered address only. Please contact the bank if you wish to change the address. In case of e-Gift Voucher, it will be sent on the email id provided during redemption. Please be noted that this does not change the customer profile/ registered details with HDFC Bank. No dispatch shall be made to P.O. Box addresses or to addresses outside India.

All other products including multiple reward redemptions will be delivered in 5-7 working days. SmartBuy Rewards be not held responsible for delay in delivery for reasons beyond our control, such as strikes, natural calamities etc.

Products couriered through Speed Post will be delivered in 21 working days. Delivery via speed post might take additional days depending on the remoteness of the address.

SmartBuy Rewards reserves right to cancel the orders redeemed due to stock/ product non availability and other reasons that might affect the product delivery.

If the customer’s points balance is not sufficient during settlement, then the excess amount will be debited from the customer’s card/ account

5. For all Queries related to Rewards fulfilment please call 1860 425 3322. Please note all Email queries will be responded within 24 working hrs, subject to severity.

6. The Courier company shall make three attempts to deliver the gift/reward ordered to the registered address. If the Reward is not delivered after three attempts, the redemption order stands cancelled and the SmartBuy Vouchers shall be credited back to customer account as per due process.

7. If a gift/reward received is damaged, and

i. If the damage is evident from the condition of the packaging, the member should refuse to accept the shipment and obtain a refusal note from the courier company and inform the customer care center within 7 days of receipt t of the gift.

ii. If the damage is discovered after opening the package, the member should keep all packaging materials and cartons intact and call customer service centre for assistance to return the product. If the returned goods are found by to be defective post investigation /not comply with the description in the SmartBuy Rewards Catalogue, Reward360 shall endeavour to procure replacements for the items / shall credit the SmartBuy Voucher value as points back to the member’s account. The member shall thereafter have no claim whatsoever against Reward360/HDFC Bank

iii. In case of receipt of damaged, defective or deficient goods/ invalid Gift vouchers, the member should intimate the same to Customer Service within 7 working days of receipt of gift/reward. However, in case of failure to do so, the reward shall be considered as accepted and member’s request for replacement/reversal of voucher value shall not be entertained.

8. On cancelation of rewards redeemed, the Vouchers will be refunded in 5 working days from the date of cancellation. In case there is an error while redeeming the rewards, the Vouchers will be refunded back to customer account as points in less than 1 hour.

9. To know the order status/Shipping status of Rewards, please visit “Manage Orders”, enter order id, Mobile number and click submit.

Other terms and conditions related to HDFC Bank’s MyReward is applicable on SmartBuy Rewards. However certain terms & conditions shall be overrules by SmartBuy Rewards Terms and Conditions.
 

OTHER RIGHTS

Points Redemption

HDFC Bank Reward Point Voucher Redemption Charge:

On successful Points redemption/ Voucher creation, HDFC Bank Credit Card will be charged Rs. 99 + GST on the credit card except for Infinia and Diners Black credit cards. But this could change subject to HDFC Bank’s terms and conditions. Please read our terms and conditions regularly for any changes, if applicable.

 

HDFC Bank Reward Points Voucher Expiry:

1.Once you have generated your voucher code, you can use the code on the HDFC Bank SmartBuy https://offers.smartbuy.hdfcbank.com within the next 5 hours. Post 5 hours, the voucher code will be expired, and you will receive the corresponding number of points in your respective credit card account. These refunded reward points will be added to your overall points tally and can be instantly used again.

2. If your voucher generation was successful but your payment failed during the cash component leg. You will receive the points back to your voucher within 1-5 minutes which you can use for re-trying the payment. If the voucher remains unused for 5 hours, the points will be credited back to your credit card account. These refunded reward points will be added to your overall points tally and can be instantly used again.

3. If your booking fails, in that case you will receive your points back to your credit card account between 24-46 hours (T+1 working day). These refunded reward points will be added to your overall points tally and can be instantly used again.

4. If your voucher creation fails, but your points have been debited from your credit card account. You will receive the points back to your credit card account within 46-72 hours. These refunded reward points will be added to your overall points tally and can be instantly used again.

5. If you cancel a booking made with points and cash in a billing cycle different from the one in which the booking was originally made, the points will be credited to your account within 5-7 days of the cancellation date. However, these points will only be redeemable at the end of the billing cycle in which the cancellation was done.

6. Unused voucher generated for Flight/ Hotel can be used to redeem any of these digital services – Flight/ Hotel, subject to redeem points capping for your card.

7.After the voucher has expired, the user needs to generate a new voucher for points transaction. Rs. 99+GST will be levied for new voucher generation (except: For Infinia and Diners Black Customers new voucher generation is free)

 

Minimum Points: You would need min points worth Rs. 100 to redeem.

Eligibility

Governing Law

FLIGHT BOOKING TERMS

Cancellation and Modification charges:

For all flight modifications and ticket cancellations, the modification and cancellation charges are applied per sector per passenger. Please note that these charges are subject to change by the Airline and its service provider, at its sole discretion. Please note processing fee of 2% on the transaction value and any discounts availed at the time of booking would be deducted by SmartBuy if the booking is cancelled.

Please note that the convenience fee levied during transaction during flight booking on SmartBuy is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled.

If you are contacting the airlines directly with regards to the modification you are liable to pay the additional price difference directly to the airlines and HDFC Bank/ Reward360 is not liable for modification changes done to your order or online updates of the order in your account.

If you are contacting the airlines directly for Cancellation you are still liable to call the HDFC Bank SmartBuy customer support to process your refund. Please inform the customer support team within 24 hours from the time of cancellation.

Refund shall be processed within 7-10 working days, subject to receipt of refund from airline/partner and may be subject to cancellation charges.

HOTEL BOOKING TERMS

Cancellation and Modification Policy:

Every hotel has a different cancellation and modification policy and the user shall be charged according to the Hotel/Room cancellation or modification policy. Please note that these charges are subject to change by the hotel and its service provider, at its sole discretion and without notice to Company. The charges may be verified with the hotel and their service provider by the User.

For any hotel/ room modification, you must contact the designated customer support team and/ or the hotel directly. And the request will be entertained as per the booking terms and any modification charge has to be borne by the customer.

Only those cancellation requests which are made on the phone to designated customer support team shall be entertained. Please note that if you are contacting the Hotel directly for cancellation you are still liable to inform the HDFC Bank SmartBuy call center support team to process the refund.

HDFC Bank/ Reward360 shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel without intimating HDFC Bank and also through any other medium including, but not limited to, SMS or e-mail.

BUS BOOKING TERMS

Cancellation Policy

SmartBuy will process the ticket cancellation request from You as per the cancellation/refund policy of the bus operator/ redBus. The cancellation fee and the period taken to process the refund will differ for each bus operator. Please refer to the bus operator's cancellation policy.

HDFC Bank/ SmartBuy will not be responsible for any change in partner/ bus operator’s cancellation policy.

How does the customer cancel a ticket?

You can cancel your ticket (partial & full ticket), booked through website https://offers.smartbuy.hdfcbank.com, Online through “My Orders” in “Manage Booking” section after login. Cancellation policy is subject to Partner/ bus operator policy.

Kindly note: if primary passenger ticket is cancelled, the complete ticket will be cancelled.

Alternatively, you can call our partner redBus at 080-3097 0823 or email to support@redbus.in for all cancellation related queries/ support. Our partner support team will help you process the request as per the cancellation policy of the bus operator.

Refund Policy

Customer will be entitled to get refund of ticket fare, as per redBus or the bus operator policy. Customer will not be entitled to refund for cancellation of tickets for any other reasons.

In the event of dishonour of ticket by the bus operator, please connect with redBus and SmartBuy customer support for refunds. The refund shall be processed in 7 to 10 working days, subject to refund receipt from the partner redBus and may be subject to partner/ bus operator charges.

Modification Policy

SmartBuy does not support modification of bus tickets. Request you to connect with redBus customer support at 080-3097 0823 or connect with the bus operator directly.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

1. You are required to enter a valid phone number while booking a bus ticket on SmartBuy. By registering Your phone number is registered with us, You consent to be contacted by us for the purposes of the transaction on SmartBuy or for sending you any SmartBuy related content or promotional offers.

2. For the purpose of booking bus tickets through SmartBuy, we warrant that we shall be responsible for the following activities:

1. Issuing a valid ticket (a ticket that will be accepted by the bus operator);

2. Providing customer support

3. SmartBuy will process the ticket cancellation request (online) from customers subject to the cancellation and refund policy of the respective bus operator. The cancellation fee may differ for each bus operator.

9. Your baggage getting lost/stolen/damaged;

10. The bus operator changing a customer's seat at the last minute to accommodate a female / child passenger;

11. Bus departing without You boarding the bus, while You were waiting at the wrong boarding point (please call the bus operator to find out the exact boarding point if you are not a regular traveller of a particular bus operator);

12. The bus operator changing the boarding point and/or using a pick-up vehicle at the boarding point to take the passengers to the bus departure point; and

13. The bus operator not permitting Your baggage beyond a limit determined at the bus operator’s sole discretion.

Carriage Policy:

1. You are responsible for ensuring that Your travel date, time and destination are correct before booking/reserving the bus tickets or when you select to confirm your ticket purchase on the Website. Please check the cancellation Policy available on the Website for details about cancellation and refunds.

2. You are solely responsible to be at the designated boarding point reasonably in advance before departure time. We are not liable if you fail to board the bus by the time the bus departs.

3. The bus operators reserve the right to refuse you and your luggage from carriage on the bus for whatsoever reason that they deem justified, including but not limited to:

1. Carrying of contraband, illegal substances, fragile or oversize/overweight luggage, Your unruly behavior, drunkenness or any other behavior that the bus operator deems to affect the other passengers' comfort or safety.

2. You are unable to produce valid government issued identification proof while travelling.

3. The payment of Your fare for the ticket is fraudulent;

4. The booking of Your seat has been done fraudulently or unlawfully or has been purchased from a person not authorized by redBus;

5. The credit card through which your payment was made for the ticket booking has been reported lost or stolen;

6. The itinerary or booking or confirmation slip is counterfeit or fraudulently obtained;

7. The itinerary of your reservation has been altered by a person other than redBus or our authorized agent on your express instructions;

8. You are unable to produce a valid and legible boarding ticket for the intended travel. The boarding ticket constitutes as the prima facie evidence of the contract of carriage between the bus operator and the boarding ticket holder;

9. You are deemed medically unfit to travel and may pose a health hazard to other passengers on board the bus, at the absolute discretion of the bus operator;

10. You fail to arrive on time to board before the time of departure or fail to board the bus by the time the bus departs.

11. If the bus operator has refused to carry You or choose to remove You from carriage as per the reasons abovementioned, we reserve the right to cancel the unused ticket and You will not be entitled to further carriage or refund of fare. We will not be liable for the consequential or incidental loss, damage, cost, or fee You may incur due to the refusal of carriage.

4. Children below age twelve (12) will not be allowed to book tickets for themselves nor will be allowed to travel, unless they are accompanied by an adult.

5. Children above the age of 5 years need to compulsorily obtain a bus ticket at the regular fare of the ticket, unless otherwise a particular bus operator specifies otherwise in their terms and conditions.

6. The bus operator reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, and/or delay any journey and substitute other buses for reasons they deem necessary to do so.

7. You are responsible to ensure that valid and necessary government issued personal identification documents, such as the passport, PAN card or Aadhar card, are carried with you for the journey.

Losses:

HDFCBank/ SmartBuy will not be responsible for any loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) and any other indirect or consequential loss to You when You commenced using the Website.

Modification Policy

TRAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. You acknowledge that SmartBuy neither acts as a marketplace facilitating booking of railways tickets and therefore, neither influence nor controls the scheduling/rescheduling, cancellations or other changes to the delivery timelines or other related aspects of the railway tickets on offer. SmartBuy, not being last-mile service provider, shall not be deemed responsible/liable for any delay, inaccuracy, schedule change, update, cancellation, lack or deficiency of services provided by the railways.

21. IRCTC Authorised Partner service charge, SmartBuy handling charge and Payment gateway charges are non-refundable.Option to cancel a ticket post chart preparation is not available on SmartBuy, instead customer has to file a TDR as per IRCTC norms.

22. Passengers with a confirmed e-ticket are permitted to board the train. Their names will appear on the boarding chart. Final booking status such as confirmed/RAC with the names of passengers will appear on the boarding chart. Waitlisted bookings/PNR's will not be listed on the boarding chart, existing railways rules will apply if fully waitlisted travelers are found traveling.

23. The bookings made on SmartBuy website is subject to cancellation charges levied by the Indian Railways. It may vary depending on the cancellation time and booking quota (tatkal/general/ladies/premium).

24. Railways automatically cancels the fully waitlisted e-tickets after chart preparation. The refund in such cases gets automatically credited to your bank account used for booking such tickets after deduction of SmartBuy handling charges, any other non-refundable charges and discount/ coupon, if any available at the time to booking.

3. SmartBuy Voucher

The SmartBuy Vouchers can only be redeemed by the primary relationship-holder, and not by an additional account holder.

Mode of Payment

Product related terms & conditions shall be set forth in the Rewards on the website and in the Rewards issued to the user.

SmartBuy Rewards makes no warranties or representations either expressed or implied, with regard to the type, quality or fitness of the Rewards provided through the SmartBuy Rewards Program. Gifts will be accompanied by warranty information wherever applicable from the manufacturer and claims must be directed to the manufacturers directly.

Delivery of Rewards redeemed from ‘Rewards” Store

All Physical Rewards will be dispatched to the bank registered address only. Please contact the bank if you wish to change the address. In case of e-Gift Voucher, it will be sent on the email id provided during redemption. Please be noted that this does not change the customer profile/ registered details with HDFC Bank. No dispatch shall be made to P.O. Box addresses or to addresses outside India.

All other products including multiple reward redemptions will be delivered in 5-7 working days. SmartBuy Rewards be not held responsible for delay in delivery for reasons beyond our control, such as strikes, natural calamities etc.

Products couriered through Speed Post will be delivered in 21 working days. Delivery via speed post might take additional days depending on the remoteness of the address.

SmartBuy Rewards reserves right to cancel the orders redeemed due to stock/ product non availability and other reasons that might affect the product delivery.

If the customer’s points balance is not sufficient during settlement, then the excess amount will be debited from the customer’s card/ account

6. The Courier company shall make three attempts to deliver the gift/reward ordered to the registered address. If the Reward is not delivered after three attempts, the redemption order stands cancelled and the SmartBuy Vouchers shall be credited back to customer account as per due process.

7. If a gift/reward received is damaged, and

i. If the damage is evident from the condition of the packaging, the member should refuse to accept the shipment and obtain a refusal note from the courier company and inform the customer care center within 7 days of receipt t of the gift.

ii. If the damage is discovered after opening the package, the member should keep all packaging materials and cartons intact and call customer service centre for assistance to return the product. If the returned goods are found by to be defective post investigation /not comply with the description in the SmartBuy Rewards Catalogue, Reward360 shall endeavour to procure replacements for the items / shall credit the SmartBuy Voucher value as points back to the member’s account. The member shall thereafter have no claim whatsoever against Reward360/HDFC Bank

iii. In case of receipt of damaged, defective or deficient goods/ invalid Gift vouchers, the member should intimate the same to Customer Service within 7 working days of receipt of gift/reward. However, in case of failure to do so, the reward shall be considered as accepted and member’s request for replacement/reversal of voucher value shall not be entertained.

8. On cancelation of rewards redeemed, the Vouchers will be refunded in 5 working days from the date of cancellation. In case there is an error while redeeming the rewards, the Vouchers will be refunded back to customer account as points in less than 1 hour.

Points Redemption

HDFC Bank Reward Point Voucher Redemption Charge:

On successful Points redemption/ Voucher creation, HDFC Bank Credit Card will be charged Rs. 99 + GST on the credit card except for Infinia and Diners Black credit cards. Introduction

Welcome to the "Weekly Deals" section of the HDFC Smartbuy platform. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the "Weekly Deals" services. By accessing or using the "Weekly Deals" section, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the "Weekly Deals" services.

Eligibility

  • 1. User Eligibility: Only users with HDFC Bank payment instruments such as credit card, debit card, PayZapp linked HDFC Bank cards and other linked payment instruments will be eligible for purchasing the deals.
  • 2. Account Requirement: Users must have an active HDFC Smartbuy account or HDFC Payzapp account to avail of the deals.

Purchase Limits

  • 1. Daily Limit: Users can purchase only one product per day from the "Weekly Deals" section.
  • 2. Weekly Limit: Users can purchase a maximum of three products per week, with a limit of one unit per product.
  • 3. Deal Lock Period: After availing a deal, users must wait 24 hours before they can avail the next deal.

Payment

  • 1. You can purchase a product using your HDFC Bank payment instruments such as credit card, debit card, PayZapp linked HDFC Bank cards and other linked payment instruments.
  • 2. Payment Processing: All payments will be processed securely through the HDFC payment gateway.

Shipping and Delivery

  • 1. Delivery Timeframe: Products purchased from "Weekly Deals" will be delivered within 10-12 days from the date of purchase.
  • 2. Shipping Charges: There are no additional shipping charges for "Weekly Deals" products. The price displayed is the final price.
  • 3. Delivery Tracking: Users will receive a tracking number once the order is dispatched to monitor the delivery status.

Returns and Refunds

  • 1. Return Policy: Returns are only accepted if the product is defective or damaged. Returns for other reasons are not allowed.
  • 2. Return Process: If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact our customer service within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return.
  • 3. Refund Timeline: Refund amounts will be processed within 7-10 business days after the returned product is received and inspected.
  • 4. Refund of amount:The original amount paid would be refunded to the source of initial payment.

Restrictions

  • 1. One-Time Purchase: Each user can purchase one product per day and only three product per week during the offer period.
  • 2. Non-Transferable: Deals and purchases are non-transferable and can only be availed by the account holder.
  • 3. No Resale: Products purchased under "Weekly Deals" are for personal use only and not for resale.

Modifications and Termination

  • 1. Changes to Terms: SmartBuy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes.
  • 2. Termination of Deals: SmartBuy reserves the right to terminate or suspend the "Weekly Deals" section at any time without prior notice.

Liability

  • 1. Limitation of Liability: HDFC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the "Weekly Deals" section.
  • 2. Force Majeure: HDFC is not responsible for any delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, or technical issues.
  • 3. In case customer has any concern about the purchased product, they have to directly contact the merchant/seller which is Reward360 here. HDFC Bank and HDFC Bank SmartBuy will not be liable nor play any resolution with quality or tracking of purchased product by customer.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
